This article focuses on the core regulatory role of cytokines in autoimmune diseases, systematically elaborating the key position of the imbalance between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines in the pathogenesis of AID, analyzing the differential manifestations of Th1/Th2 cytokine imbalance in rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren's syndrome, multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and other diseases, and exploring the application value of cytokine detection in the diagnosis, disease monitoring, and biologic treatment evaluation of AID.
